East Brunswick is turning into a Christmas wonderland faster than you can say “Santa Claus is coming to town.” So grab your candy canes, hang your stockings with care, and join us on a sleigh ride through the jolliest happenings in East Brunswick this year!

Festive Finds at East Brunswick Village’s December Makers Market

Jingle all the way to the East Brunswick Village Makers Market! It’s the festive extravaganza you need to grab some last-minute, unique gifts!

It will be held at 127 Nicholson St Brunswick East—right across from Coles- and will be wheelchair accessible, pet-friendly, and super easy to access if you catch the 96 tram along Nicholson Street. Green and sustainable, just the way we like it at EBV!

The EBV Makers Market is a local love affair, bringing together the craftiest cats from Brunswick East and beyond. It’s not just a market; it’s a community initiative, giving a big ol’ high five to our local artisans. And guess what? It’s fee-free, meaning it’s a stage for every business, big or small, to shine.

Picture handmade candles setting the mood, jewellery and bookmarks for those last-minute gifts, gourmet dog treats and canine couture for your furry friends, snazzy ceramics, and edible goodies that will make your taste buds dance—from chilli oil to Christmas cakes.

There will be live music that’ll serenade your shopping spree from Lottie Jenkins, a young country singer/songwriter, and a few more guest appearances from some big Christmas names soon to be announced.

Brews, Brainpower, and Banter: Bridge Road Brewers’ Twisted Trivia Night

Hold onto your thinking caps, East Brunswick, because the intellectual extravaganza of the season is about to unfold at Bridge Road Brewers! The hops meet the head-scratchers in a harmonious union of craft beer and cerebral challenges.

Prepare for a night of Twisted Trivia at Bridge Road Brewers, the perfect way to get into the holiday spirit with your mates! Known for their exceptional brews, BRB are turning the tables and testing your mental mettle. Gather your squad, or fly solo if you’re feeling particularly adventurous, and dive headfirst into a sea of brain-teasers and hoppy elixirs.

The event kicks off at 7 PM and is the perfect post-work wind-down or pre-dinner brain workout. Just be sure to book your table in advance, as this will be a busy one!

As it turns out, people were thirsty for change, and the local community, along with the steady stream of Beechworth tourists, embraced Bridge Road’s brews. “We opened the first brewery in a residential zone, next to a stone bridge and waterfall, and in the early 2000s, it was quite a novelty to have a craft brewery in a regional town, so it encouraged a lot of people to stop. We were also on the way to the rubbish tip, so locals popped in and pretended they were still taking out the rubbish when really they were having a cheeky pint.”
