PARTNERSHIP WITH MELBOURNE FRINGE FESTIVAL 2024

East Brunswick Village is very proud to announce our partnership with the Melbourne Fringe Festival 2024!

EBV is delighted to have thrown our support behind this incredible community organisation – and give back to a festival which gives so much to the arts in Melbourne.

In the words of Melbourne Fringe CEO Simon, our 2024 sponsorship is the start of something beautiful!

“We can’t wait to see what we do together – because East Brunswick Village is so deeply committed to the arts, and so are we”, Simon says. “So, we’re going to bring the best of Melbourne Fringe to East Brunswick – and of course bring the residents of EBV to Melbourne Fringe…”

Our partnership with Fringe not only supported grassroots creativity in Melbourne – it also allowed us to give the gift of Fringe to our grassroots community in and around the village.

Fringe ticket holders are encouraged to hold on to their tickets because FoMo Cinemas at EBV are offering 2-for-1 cinema tickets when you present your Fringe ticket up until Nov 30th 2024!

Eat your art out!

Women of Rumi Kitchen

A fantastic breakfast at Rumi was enjoed in celebration of International Women’s Day.

The event featured a dynamic discussion between RUMI co-founder Nat and the women of RUMI Kitchen, as they shared their experiences in the world of hospitality.

The panel aligned perfectly with the theme of IWD 2024 – ‘Count Her In’. It was all about fostering opportunities for women to earn, learn and lead. This was an inspiring (and tasty!) event for everyone involved.

Valentines Day at Rumi

New memories were on the menu at EBV – A curated Middle Eastern meal for two was celebrated with a loved one at RUMI this past Valentine’s day.

Love was shared with a dreamy four-course set of Rumi favourites.

Cut-Play-Paste:

A collaborative collage session with Melbourne based visual artist Maximillian Malone, was hosted inside EBV’s display suite.

A  creative stick-together with brunch & drinks menu was provided by our good friends over at Bellboy Cafe.

Several image-making processes, styles & techniques were explored all whilst in a laid back & informal environment.
