Walkthrough Tour of the New Gardens at EBV

EBV is continuing to grow its vibrant village, with our new gardens designed by EBV’s very own resident Fiona! Over the past six months, Fiona has carefully planned and designed these gardens, planting the first seeds that will evolve into lush green spaces at Fasteners Way and Elm Grove.

Fiona has a background in Zoology, Marine Science, and Biodiversity, with a focus on integrating Biodiversity and Water Sensitive Urban Design. During her four-year PhD at the ICON Science Lab at RMIT University, she specialised in concepts such as blue-green infrastructure, sponge cities, and park cities that are increasingly at the forefront of global sustainability, positioning EBV as a leader in urban sustainability!

We are delighted to have Fiona on board with her passion for EBV’s community, allowing her to flourish with an approach grounded in deep observation, listening, and an intuitive understanding of what the space needs.
